. >>> and in new mexico, police arrived just in time to break up a fight between two veterans that could have turnled deadly, as you're about to see. it all stemmed from a disagreement over a bumper sticker. >> drop the gun. drop the gun now. >> reporter: look at this dramatic video just released that shows police arriving on the scene of two men arguing. and they find one man holding another at gunpoint. >> step away. >> reporter: 43-year-old chris williams puts his hands in the air. and the officers separate the men. police say the two men, both veterans, had gotten into an altercation over a bumper sticker on williams' trucks that said derogatory things about president obama. >> why would a vet, on an american citizen, want to put that stuff on their truck? >> reporter: the argument escalated quickly. when the police arrived, they found the victim on his knees, his hands in the air, and williams allegedly holding the gun to the back of the man's head. >> drop the gun, now. >> reporter: police arriving just in time, possibly saving that veteran's life. >> and the man holding the gun wa
